We have absolutely the best Fire Department that exists, of that we are convinced.  Others may have bigger and better budgets to work with but none have the determination, heart and compassion that our men and women demonstrate. Those who are risking their lives to protect us need the best equipment and training to do their jobs safely.  It is no longer sufficient that they make do because there is not enough money left when the trickle down occurs in this County.  We witnessed first hand how our firefighters had to risk their own lives because their Department did not have all of the equipment that they needed.  We are passionate about continuing to change that situation because all of our lives depend on them doing their jobs well.

We began this Foundation as the result of a terrible tragedy in our lives and if our efforts help to save even one life here in our community or elsewhere then every minute of effort will be worth it.  We cannot, however, do this alone. We need the help of everyone to be part of the solution and to make a significant difference. We invite and encourage all of you to be involved with this public foundation and to help those who are helping us.  Collectively we are powerful and we can make change happen.
